Bor vom Langenauer Forst (IMP NLD)

Bor vom Langanauer Forst was imported to Australia by Madeo Built in 2025 from our close colleague Huib van Zundert of Quality Police Dogs. Bor represents the type of modern service dog we actively seek—genetically sound, mentally tough, and more than capable of real operational work.

Bor achieved his KNPV PH1 certification with honours, earning an exceptional score of 429 points. This result secured him a place at the 2025 KNPV Nationals, an invitation extended only to the top 20 PH1 dogs of the year—an especially notable achievement for a German Shepherd competing in a traditionally herder-dominated sport.

Physically, Bor is a substantially built male at 47kg, with very correct conformation that allows him to generate significant power while retaining functional agility. His grip mechanics and bite pressure are exceptional, with a physicality on the bite that is both dominant and never wavering —one of his most defining traits. He displays strong food and ball drive, excellent prey drive characteristics, and deep, methodical hunt drive.

Bor has been extensively tested under both environmental and decoy pressure and has consistently demonstrated toughness, confidence, drive stamina and genuine enjoyment of the fight. This ability to remain forward under pressure is, in our view, an increasingly rare and valuable trait in modern working-line shepherds.

Temperamentally, Bor is neutral to people, clear-headed, and stable. He shows no unnecessary handler aggression and accepts correction well. He is, however, a strong-charactered dog who requires an experienced handler and does not tolerate incompetence—making him best suited to serious working environments.

Born in 2021 and bred by Frank Fritzsche of Langanauer Forst Kennels, Bor is sired by Wilbur del Camino Duro and out of Fila del Camino Duro. This pairing has proven exceptional: his litter sister Bella-Bixie vom Langanauer Forst is a top-level IGP and Schutzhund competitor, while his litter brother Blitz is an operational police dog with the Bavarian Police. The breeding was designed with service suitability in mind, alongside careful attention to genetic diversity and long-term health.

Bor has already produced successful police dogs in the Netherlands prior to import, and his first Australian litter is due in late January 2026.

Health-wise, Bor is exemplary, holding HD-A, ED-A, and a fully clear DNA panel, including DM clear.
